Our client is a Major E&P Company operating in Nigeria and looking for a :
HSE Offshore Supervisor
Offshore position, 28/28 days rotation, 7 days a week
Scope:
• To achieve HSE Project objectives.
• To ensure compliance with applicable Company rules, procedures and best work practices of HSE management activities during construction, integration and pre-commissioning activities at site.
• To work in close cooperation with the Company and Contractor HSE leaders to play a key role in HSE leadership in communication, organization, inspection and survey of the plant project
To perform at least twice a day regular site workplace and workshop tours to monitor HSE performance.
To coordinate construction activities to comply with all relevant Company HSE rules and requirements.
To supervise and coordinate the Project HSE inspectors at site.
To ensure efficient communication with Contractor HSE Leader on the implementation of Project HSE requirements and issue.
To stop any unsafe operation and situation and report immediately to Contractor HSE Leader and Site Representative.
To implement, monitor and report corrective actions at site.
To conduct regular HSE coordination meetings and safety tours at site.
To conduct Job Safety Analysis meeting with key personnels for major or critical task of the project.
To provide regular HSE reports on site surveys and inspections.
To perform HSE training as per Project requirements.
To implement safety campaigns and safety initiatives.
To promote application of Company policies, rules, procedures, General Specifications and Project procedures.
To be proactive in anticipating events or Contractors problems which may affect the successful completion of the Project objectives and inform Structure Supervisor and Site Representative.
To attend Project meetings as and when required.
