Responsibilities

• Accountant is required to deal with the book keeping of the day to day activities for a number of Branches.
• Co-ordinate and deliver, daily, weekly and  month end reporting within tight deadlines
• Ensure that key financial processes are properly documented and updated and reviewed regularly with a view to achieving improvements and efficiencies.
• In conjunction with the Senior Financial Accountant, shall be responsible for managing and controlling the Chart of Accounts.
• Produce, as required, any adhoc reports required by the Senior Financial Accountant and/or Executive Management.
• Other duties as may be assigned by the Senior Financial Accountant and Executive Management.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Working in business planning or forecasting function within a complex organisation
• Managing others
• Specifying, developing and improving forecasting models
• Supporting people with limited or no experience of use and interpretation of MI and forecasting to enable them to contribute more effectively.
• Dealing with uncertainty and ambiguity and identifying agreed benefits/outcomes for a piece of work, then designing robust solutions to deliver benefits
• Working positively with staff all levels in an organisation, taking responsibility for delivering on particular initiatives, identifying and aligning stakeholders
• Producing and explaining MI in response to particular issues or questions 
• Candidate should have very good knowledge of forecasting and reporting, highly skilled in modelling techniques and applications. 
• Familiarity with performance scorecards.  qualified accountant, studying CIMA or ACCA or ICAN and have knowledge of current business planning packages and systems.
